I am an ex-gifted-child, with more years of post-secondary education and more lost potential than anyone should ever admit. These days, I am living with my husband and two daughters in my husband’s hometown, far from where I grew up. It also seems far from a lot of other things.
I love language, writing, and reading. I love taking pictures. I love to cook and enjoy a glass of wine in the process.
I’ve had pretty good luck so far in life. Or maybe I’ve just worked hard and actually deserve all these good things I have.
I’m on a quest to discover my passion and find my lost potential. I want to leave my children a legacy of happiness and purpose. This blog is the newest stage of my journey.
Karin, I never ready your ‘About me’ before! I feel quite inspired by you – looking forward to reading something about recent travels perhaps? Or research into ‘giftedness’ – I never got to hear about that!
I appreciate the interest … travels, photos, claiming my space and identity, opening the box of lost dreams — all are on-going projects. Hard to believe someone might actually want to read about them though … but that is part of the space-claiming, I guess. I will surely revive this blog at some point, but right now I have to pack for my cruise!
